Hi Friends! 2017 is here! The new year is a time that excites and motivates people to make change. But, it's common for that motivation to start to fade as the year progresses. Today, I am sharing 3 things you MUST do to keep those New Years resolutions. 1START SMALLStart small with your resolutions. Due to the spike in motivation, it's easy to want to go 0 to 60. By doing this, it is just as easy for the speed to dwindle...fast. So start small. If your resolution is to drink more water. Start with adding one additional glass to what you currently do. By starting small, you are making changes that will turn into sustainable habits. 2MAKE ONE CHANGE AT A TIMEInstead of making multiple New Years resolutions this year, start with just one. Make one change at a time. Similar to #1, if we start smart with the one goal that is most important to you or the one that may be the easiest to reach, we are more likely to maintain the new habit and be excited to continue. 3BE MOTIVATEDMake changes that are important to YOU. If your resolutions are based on what you think you "should" do, then the motivation you need to make the change is not as present. Instead, make resolutions that you are excited and motivated to make for you and they will be even easier to achieve.
