6-INGREDIENT PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE

Hey friends! 

Have you been getting ALL the pumpkin things lately?  (It's OK.  You can be honest with us ;)) 

​Well you're in for a (pumpkin-y) treat today!  
Pumpkin is actually an excellent source of vitamin A, which is important for your eyes, your immune system, and for maintaining healthy skin and bones.  But, don't be fooled!  Just because something contains the awesomeness of pumpkin, doesn't mean it's automatically "good" for you. *womp womp*  In fact, a traditional 12 ounce PSL with whipped cream contains 300 calories, 11g of fat, and 39g of sugar! Yowza. 

Avoid maxing out on your daily dose of sugary sweets and try my simple, homemade version of your favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte. It's sure to satisfy your pumpkin craving and you'll be so amazed at just how easy it is thanks to my secret weapon... a mason jar!  It's the only thing you need to make this delicious fall drink.

6-INGREDIENT HEALTHY PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE (NO-FAT, LOW SUGAR)

SERVINGS: 1 

​INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/2 cup non-fat milk
  • 1 tablespoon 100% pure pumpkin, canned 
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon agave
  • 1 cup strong brewed hot coffee

​DIRECTIONS:
  1. Add the milk, pumpkin, pumpkin spice, vanilla extract and agave to a mason jar.
  2. Screw on the lid and shake vigorously until bubbles form.
  3. Remove the metal lid and microwave the mixture for 45 seconds.
  4. Pour the warmed milk mixture into your coffee and enjoy!
