Hey Planners! Did you know that June 13th - 19th marks Men's Health Week? It's a great time to encourage the males in your life to take care of themselves, especially when it comes to nourishing their bodies with the essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients. (Here's an awesome infographic on what they should keep in mind when aiming for optimal men's health.) So let's be honest, men can be picky eaters. And besides it being completely annoying when it comes to cooking at home, it can contribute (or not) to their overall health & well-being. In addition to lots of fruits & veggies and whole grains each day, men also need 38 grams of fiber per day (30 grams/day for men 50+). This means being a complete carnivore-only ain't gonna get ya there. (Besides, more protein doesn't = more muscles.) Sorry fellas. But no need to fret lady lovers!
